An exciting opportunity has become available for a Community Support Worker to work outreach with people across our communities in Wandsworth.
Working with a diverse group of people, Support Workers support service users with a wide range of issues including:
- Developing coping strategies
- Volunteering/employment opportunities
- Education or training activity
- Benefit issues
- Housing issues
- Improving social interaction.
Functional Responsibilities
Workers will be required to coordinate and maintain their own workload, reporting on their activity as required. The majority of a support Worker’s time will be spent delivering bespoke one-to-one support tailored to people’s individual need, whether they are experiencing or recovering from mental distress or accessing early intervention support.
