About The Role

We’re looking for a Lead Fullstack Engineer to drive the development of Franki’s innovative platform, which merges social media, video content, and AI technologies. This role not only demands a deep technical expertise in software development but also leadership capabilities to guide and mentor a team of developers. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of scalable, efficient, and high-quality software solutions.

What you’ll do:

  • Architect and implement high-quality backend systems using C#, .NET, and Azure technologies.
  • Ensure the creation of reliable and secure API interfaces.
  • Provide architectural guidance and ensure that solutions align with the overall technical architecture and business goals.
  • Take ownership of code quality by enforcing best practices, conducting code reviews, and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
  • Lead efforts to troubleshoot complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Proactively address scalability and performance concerns by optimizing code, infrastructure, and system design.
  • Champion security best practices and ensure that applications and systems adhere to security standards and protocols.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of junior backend developers.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and set clear team goals.
  • Optimize applications for maximum efficiency and scalability.

You might be a good fit if you...

  • Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • 8+ years experience with modern, scalable, cloud-based, open-source B2B/B2C web applications
  • 4+ years experience leading small teams of engineers (4+ people) through large feature development for modern web applications in production environments.
  • Strong proficiency in:
    • C#
    • .NET & .NET Core
    • Azure platform backend: Azure DevOps, CosmosDB, Serverless, SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures.
  • Ability to work with modern web app React front-end development.
  • Confidence in designing and using REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with MediatR SDK or CQRS/Mediator patterns.
  • Understanding of CI/CD principles and the importance of automated testing.

Bonus points for...

  • Certifications: Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, or any relevant Microsoft certifications.

The salary range for this role is...

  • $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 a year.

  • Remote work: Our team works remotely across the US but primarily PST time zone; we travel together several times a year for company kick-offs and mid-year meetings.
