Our New York office is looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented individual to join us as a Senior Business Analyst in the Client Data Strategy team. This team plays a critical role in providing strategic oversight of client data and reporting for our global client coverage organizations. It leads the development and execution of a multi-year roadmap focused on delivering value across the client data lifecycle, including data architecture, governance, acquisition, quality management, business intelligence, and advanced analytics. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Business Analytics, Client Coverage, Finance, Global Technology, Operations and Business Enablement.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and analyze business needs, translating them into actionable requirements
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements. Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions to improve client data management and business outcomes
Develop and maintain detailed business requirements documents, including workflows, process diagrams, and report mock-ups, ensuring clarity and alignment with stakeholders
Document project scope and obtain sponsor approvals
Manage project tasks, timelines, risks, and issues, ensuring timely and successful delivery of objectives
Design, build, and maintain business analytics reports and dashboards using Tableau and other visualization tools
Develop and maintain process automation workflows using Python and/or Alteryx to streamline data management and reporting processes
Partner with IT and business teams to validate solutions through user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure final deliverables meet both technical and business expectations
Ensure all requirements align with enterprise data management standards
Conduct in-depth analysis of large volumes of client data to extract actionable insights and support strategic decision-making. Deliver business metrics and insights through reports, presentations, and interactive dashboards
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Business Analytics, or a related field of study
6+ years’ hands-on experience in managing data and analytics projects within Financial Services / Asset Management
Experience working with client and product data for US mutual funds, UCITS, ETFs, Alternatives, and other fund vehicles, including fund administrator data, firm/office/financial advisor data, and client coverage models
Strong analytical, writing, and technical skills
Proficiency in SQL and Tableau (or comparable BI tools) is required; experience with Snowflake, Python, Alteryx, and Salesforce.com (or another CRM platform) is preferred
Demonstrated ability to break down complex business problems into meaningful components and translate them into actionable business solutions
Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical ideas to business users
Strong attention to detail, business acumen, and excellent time management and organizational skills
Team player with strong work ethic and focus on meeting deadlines and objectives
Ability to work independently and demonstrate critical thinking

Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $130,000-$150,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, retirement, life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
