Integration meets Innovation

At Celigo, we believe integration should empower — not exhaust — innovation. As a modern Integration and Automation Platform (iPaaS), we’re on a mission to simplify how companies integrate, automate, and optimize processes. Powered by game-changing technology like runtime AI and prebuilt, mission-critical integrations, Celigo is redefining how businesses connect their world.

Celigo is seeking a customer- and market-facing Chief Information Officer (CIO) to serve as a senior GTM leader, industry evangelist, and strategic advisor to customers, prospects, partners, and analysts. This role is outbound by design, focused on storytelling, thought leadership, and influencing buying decisions—rather than owning internal IT operations.

As CIO, you will represent the voice of the modern enterprise technology leader, shaping Celigo’s narrative in the market and helping customers understand how integration, automation, and data drive scalable growth. This role expects you to be onsite Monday-Friday.

What would you do if hired?

Market & Thought Leadership

  • Act as a public-facing CIO ambassador for Celigo, delivering keynote presentations, conference talks, webinars, and executive briefings.
  • Build Celigo’s credibility with CIOs, CISOs, CFOs, and enterprise architects through thought leadership on integration, SaaS ecosystems, data strategy, and digital transformation.
  • Engage with industry analysts, media, and influencers to shape Celigo’s category leadership and messaging.

Go-To-Market Leadership

  • Serve as a strategic partner to Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Alliances teams in enterprise and strategic deal cycles.
  • Participate in executive-level customer conversations to articulate the business value of integration and automation, not just technical benefits.
  • Influence GTM strategy, vertical positioning, and solution packaging by bringing real-world CIO perspectives into product and marketing decisions.

Customer & Ecosystem Engagement

  • Advise customers on systems architecture, data strategy, governance, and SaaS optimization in high-growth and enterprise environments.
  • Build trusted relationships with systems integrators, ISVs, and technology partners across the SaaS ecosystem (ERP, CRM, data, eCommerce, HRIS).
  • Translate customer and partner insights into actionable feedback for product, engineering, and leadership teams.

Strategic Perspective

  • Contribute to Celigo’s long-term vision by identifying emerging technology trends, integration challenges, and enterprise priorities.
  • Help foster a data-driven mindset across customer conversations, emphasizing governance, analytics, and operational scalability.

Team Leadership

  • Lead high-performing global and regional IT teams, ensuring dual-reporting alignment to both local business needs and global standards.
  • Foster a collaborative, innovative, and accountable IT culture, aligned with the principles of agility, transparency, and trust.
  • Champion career development, training, and retention initiatives for critical talent across all regions.
Who are we looking for?

Skills & Abilities

  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, compelling, executive-friendly way.
  • Strong presence as a speaker and presenter—comfortable addressing both technical and business audiences.
  • Collaborative, high-ownership leadership style with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Willingness to travel for conferences, customer meetings, and partner events as needed.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (advanced degree a plus).
  • 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, ideally including time as a CIO, VP of IT, or equivalent senior enterprise role.
  • Deep experience in SaaS ecosystems and enterprise systems, such as ERP (NetSuite), CRM (Salesforce/CPQ), data platforms (Snowflake), analytics, PRM, and HRIS.
  • Experience working in or with high-growth SaaS companies.

Celigo reasonably expects to pay a base salary between $250,000 and $300,000 per year for this position. Actual starting base pay will be determined by skills, experience, geographic location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, benefits, or other perks as outlined in any formal employment offer made.

Celigo is proud to be

  • A 2025 Gartner Customers’ Choice for iPaaS. The only vendor to receive this award.
  • Celigo is a Visionary in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for iPaaS for the second consecutive year
  • Celigo is ranked #1 iPaaS on G2 for multiple quarters and named a Leader in both B2B/EDI and API Management.
  • Celigo is a leading intelligent automation platform that puts the power of automation in the hands of every team, unifying workflows from the predictable to the fully agentic in a single platform.

Here you'll experience

  • A high-growth, inclusive work environment where innovation thrives and ideas are implemented
  • Lightspeed learning opportunities to keep you at the leading edge of your field
  • Exceptional coworkers who challenge and inspire you daily
  • Competitive compensation and benefits, including:
    • Unlimited PTO
    • Parental leave and a generous benefits package
    • Monthly tech stipend
    • Recognition and career development opportunities
