Overview:
Become part of our outstanding team in Minibar and Room Service and play a key role in delivering seamless, personalized experiences for our guests. As the friendly and attentive face of our in-room service, you’ll ensure timely delivery, maintain minibar standards, and contribute to the comfort and satisfaction that make Aethos special.
Responsabilities
Minibar Management:
Perform daily checks of room minibars to monitor consumption.
Restock products (drinks, snacks) in an organized and attractive manner, ensuring freshness and expiry compliance.
Record and charge consumption in the hotel management system (PMS) for accurate billing.
Monitor minibar stock in the storage area and report replenishment needs.
Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of the minibars.
Room Service:
Answer guest calls to take orders in a friendly, accurate, and professional manner.
Advise guests on the menu, offering recommendations and addressing any questions.
Coordinate orders with the Kitchen department to ensure correct and timely preparation.
Prepare trays or service carts with impeccable presentation according to hotel standards (cutlery, dishes, condiments).
Deliver orders to guest rooms promptly, discreetly, and professionally.
Collect used trays and carts from guest rooms and corridors.
Guest Service and Collaboration:
Respond efficiently to any guest requests or issues related to room service.
Maintain smooth communication with other departments such as Reception, Kitchen, and Housekeeping.
Comply with all hygiene, food safety, and occupational health regulations.
Requirements
Experience: Previous experience (minimum 1 year) in a similar role in 4- or 5-star hotels will be highly valued.
Languages: Fluent in Spanish. Intermediate to advanced level of English is essential for communicating with international guests. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
Skills:
Excellent communication skills and strong customer service orientation.
Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and perform well under pressure during busy periods.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Basic knowledge of POS systems or hotel management software (PMS such as Opera, etc.).
Availability: Flexible schedule to work in rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
