Essential Functions
- Grow sales within existing accounts and develop new customers
- Call on engineers, technicians, operations leaders and decision-makers to deliver application-based solutions
- Act as a trusted advisor and technical resource for process equipment
- Review specifications and collaborate with Inside Sales to prepare quotations
- Plan and execute daily sales calls and customer visits
- Maintain CRM activity, forecasts, and territory plans
- Build strong relationships with customers and manufacturer partners
- Participate in ongoing product and manufacturer training
Experience, Education and Skills
- 4+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in industrial or process equipment
- Experience with pumps, filtration, steam, or similar mechanical products strongly preferred
- Technical aptitude and ability to interpret specifications
- Proven consultative selling and relationship-building skills
- Associate degree in engineering, technical, or business field (Bachelor’s preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
- Primarily local travel; occasional overnight travel
