The Platform Engineering unit of the COO pillar is responsible for definition of the organization wide software development target platform and the process management of the global service delivery processes in Allianz Technology.

 

Job Description

 As a Global R2D Process Manager of the Solution Delivery processes, you are responsible for the design & documentation and for the general management of the global

• Solution Design,

• Service Development,

• Service Validation and Testing,

• Deployment Management and Release Management processes and will set the general strategy of these company-wide processes.

 As responsible for the operational management of the processes, automation and integration with the defined standard tooling you ensure that the processes are optimally implemented in line with related standards, track the performance and implement measures to support the continual process improvement to enable effective and efficient service delivery.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Implement relevant R2D process changes (documentation and modeling in set tools) 
  • Inform stakeholders about relevant updates (process, tooling, training etc.). 
  • Integrate R2D process and controls into defined standard tooling landscape 
  • Functional leading R2D process and governance team 
  • Ensure the processes (Standards, procedures and service levels) are being followed by relevant practitioners globally 
  • Establish measurements and KPI targets to improve process effectiveness and efficiency 
  • Ensure support to governance related activities such as audit, risk and compliance
  • Act as focal point for process including support of stakeholders (e.g. data, service, applications and other processes) 
  • Ensure and manage compliance towards group requirements 
  • Ensure and manage external regulatory requirements where necessary
  • Ensure that proper training is provided towards stakeholders

 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing complex cross-functional software development projects and/or experience as team leader for software development teams
  • 3+ years expertise in IT Process Management, Process Architecture and Process Design
  • Advanced understanding of SLDC & technical processes and modern SDLC practices 
  • Experience with agile project management methodologies and tools (specifically Safe, Kanban, Jira)
  • Project experience with cloud technologies and integration of the same in IT landscapes 
  • Practical experience as a software developer not mandatory but a big plus Internal
  • Keywords like Java, SonarQube, SAST/DAST, Selenium, SQL, AWS, Container, Kubernetes, Helm are familiar to you
  • Ability to work fully independent and solve complex problems or situations based on multiple sources of information 
  • Capability to take up responsibility and be accountable for a project or a team
  • Stakeholder management and communication skills (including fluency in English)
  • University degree in computer sciences
  • Experience in insurance sector is a plus
