E-Commerce Manager

Cartier │New York

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

1. Strategic Leadership & Innovation

  • Define and lead the e-commerce roadmap for Cartier North America in alignment with HQ global strategy and Maison priorities.
  • Drive execution of key digital initiatives driving conversion and Omnichannel integrations.
  • Champion client-centric UX evolution, ensuring the digital boutique reflects Cartier’s craftsmanship, service, and storytelling excellence.
  • Oversee the deployment and impact measurement of A/B tests to accelerate innovation and optimize user experience.
  • Partner with IT and HQ to prioritize, scope, and deliver enhancements with measurable business outcomes.

 

2. E-Merchandising & Digital Storytelling

  • Supervise all e-merchandising activations including homepage strategy, novelties, and holiday catalogue pushes.
  • Optimize product sorting logic and catalogue structure to drive conversion and engagement.
  • Guide visual and written content alignment ensuring consistency with the Maison’s creative direction.
  • Oversee product description contextualization and visual adjustments to reinforce desirability and relevance.
  • Analyze onsite search performance and product recommendations and manage onsite search updates and product discoverability in partnership with local Product Marketing and HQ Ecommerce teams.

 

3. Data-Driven Performance Management

  • Lead the region’s e-commerce performance framework, delivering monthly insights.
  • Conduct ad-hoc deep-dives and business reviews to support strategic decisions across Marketing, CRM, and Retail teams.
  • Identify growth opportunities through site speed, checkout, and product performance analyses.

 

4. SEO & Experience Optimization

  • Oversee Cartier North America’s SEO strategy.
  • Monitor and implement technical SEO audits and redirect governance to sustain visibility and search equity.
  • Collaborate with Global teams to ensure alignment and continuous improvement across all digital channels.

 

5. Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Act as the key e-commerce liaison between Cartier North America and HQ Digital, Marketing, Client Services, and Retail teams.
  • Lead cross-functional working groups to ensure consistency of storytelling and service across the client journey.
  • Provide direction and mentorship to e-commerce team, fostering a culture of precision, innovation, and excellence.
  • Partner closely with regional leadership to align digital priorities with commercial and brand ambitions.

 

Profile

  • 7+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital strategy, or omnichannel retail within the luxury or premium sector.
  • Proven track record in leading cross-functional digital transformations and managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Strong command of UX, data analytics, SEO, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) ecosystem is a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical and storytelling skills with the ability to translate data into clear strategic direction.
  • Deep understanding of Cartier’s values, combined with impeccable attention to detail and aesthetics.
  • Strategic thinker, collaborative leader, and inspiring communicator.
