Position Overview
As a Data Analyst, you will analyze data and collaborate with stakeholders to identify new insights and actionable strategies that drive operational excellence and innovation. You will collect, analyze, and synthesize data from various sources to uncover insights that fuel smarter decisions and support long-term business growth. This is a highly collaborative role within finance that will support marketing and operations teams and spans all POWDR business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify business needs and/or opportunities
- Reporting & Dashboards: Work with data team to develop and maintain reports, dashboards, visualizations, and work to drive consistent data definitions across business units
- Generate Actionable Insights: Analyze data sets to provide clear, impactful insights that guide marketing, pricing, programming, and operational strategies
- Support Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with marketing, product management, data, and business unit teams to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a business analyst, marketing analyst, or similar role
- Experience with data and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, PowerBI, SQL, Excel)
- Familiarity with CRM systems and customer data platforms and survey design and analysis preferred (CDPs)
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, can translate complex data into clear narratives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments
- Passion for outdoor recreation, adventure sports, or lifestyle brands is a plus
