What to expect:
Martin Marietta is seeking a Foreman to join our team. This individual will be responsible for safely and efficiently supervising onsite operational activities which may include pit and/or plant production, plant maintenance, and mobile equipment operations. Additionally, the foreman is responsible for providing leadership to hourly workforce to ensure safe and efficient production, maintenance, and customer service.
Hours: 4 PM - 4 AM; Monday-Friday

A typical day for a(n) Foreman may include:
- Training and development of team, scheduling, performance management, and effective leadership of hourly workforce
- Successfully leading the Company's safety initiatives
- Practical application of working knowledge and understanding of MSHA regulations and possessing a strong personal commitment to safety
- Implementing environmental processes and regulations
- Successfully leading and managing established production, safety, and environmental objectives and metrics
- Participating in yearly planning of quarry production, maintenance and salary costs to meet budget goals
- Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor
You may be a good fit if you:
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mining, Civil), Business, or equivalent experience
- Have 2+ years' experience in aggregate operations with understanding of mineral processing equipment such as crushers, screens, conveyors, and associated mobile equipment
- Have a minimum 1-year of supervisory experience in a mining environment
- Possess excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks; strong planning skills
- Are Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Have experience with pit design/exploration, drilling, blasting, inventory control, inventory measures and customer service preferred
- Have the ability to work flexible schedule as required; including nights and weekends
