Position Responsibilities
The New Car Sales Manager will play a key leadership role in the continued growth of our sales department, with responsibilities including:
Working closely with employees and customers to enhance the sales process and drive department performance
Building rapport and maintaining long-term customer relationships to foster repeat and referral business
Training, coaching, and supporting the sales team to maximize productivity and closing ratios
Managing daily operations of the new car sales department
Desking deals, monitoring gross logs, and processing RDRs
Ensuring compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer standards, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
Previous automotive sales experience strongly preferred
Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
Strong understanding of inventory control and dealership sales operations
Proficiency with computers, CRM systems, internet applications, and MS Outlook
Professional appearance, strong work ethic, and a positive attitude
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
Valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
