You will join the Industrial Engineering & Technology team, responsible for developing and implementing advanced manufacturing solutions across process development, new product introduction and factory master plan. The team partners with product team, maintenance, and operations to design innovative, safe, and efficient equipment and process layouts that enable world-class manufacturing performance.



This role in sumary

The Industrial Equipment Project Engineer will lead the design, specification, and implementation of industrial equipment and automation systems for home appliance assembly lines. This role ensures technical excellence, on-time delivery, and adherence to cost and safety targets while driving continuous improvement and innovation within the manufacturing environment.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Manage end-to-end equipment projects from concept design to commissioning, ensuring alignment with global standards and plant requirements;
  • Develop technical specifications, layouts, and functional designs for machines, conveyors, and automation systems in primary process and  assembly;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Maintenance, Quality, Safety, Product, and Procurement) to ensure successful project delivery and integration;
  • Conduct feasibility studies, cost analysis, and risk assessments to support investment decisions and CapEx planning;
  • Lead equipment FAT/SAT, validation, and performance testing to ensure quality and reliability of solutions;
  • Support Early Equipment Management (EEM) and World Class Manufacturing (WCM) initiatives, driving zero-loss startup and maintainability excellence;
  • Manage suppliers and technical partners, ensuring compliance with corporate engineering standards and safety regulations;
  • Identify and implement opportunities for automation, digitalization, and process optimization to enhance efficiency and ergonomics.

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering;
  • Experience in industrial equipment design, manufacturing engineering, or project management in high-volume manufacturing;
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken);
  • CREA ;
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar CAD tools, and MS Project, simulation or equivalent project management systems is a plus.

Preferred skills and experiences

  • Experience with assembly line automation, robotics integration, and testing equipment for white goods or automotive industry;
  • Knowledge of Early Equipment Management (EEM), World Class Manufacturing (WCM), and Lean Manufacturing principles;
  • Familiarity with industrial safety standards (NR-12, ISO, ANSI) and risk assessment methodologies;
  • Experience in vendor management, equipment commissioning, and CapEx project execution in multinational environments;
  • Advanced Excel, Looker Studio, or digital manufacturing tools for project tracking and data analysis.
