We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Asbestos Report Writer to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in producing high-quality asbestos survey and analytical reports for a wide range of clients.
You’ll work closely with surveyors and consultants to interpret site data, compile findings, and deliver accurate, compliant, and professional reports that meet industry standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret asbestos survey data, drawings, and laboratory results
- Produce clear, detailed, and compliant asbestos reports in line with HSG264 and other relevant regulations
- Ensure all reports meet company quality standards and deadlines
- Liaise with surveyors and analysts to clarify information and resolve discrepancies when required
- Maintain accurate report templates and contribute to ongoing process improvements
- Manage workload efficiently to meet client and internal timescales
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Strong written communication and attention to detail
- Experience writing asbestos survey or analytical reports (essential)
- Understanding of UK asbestos legislation and guidance (HSG264, CAR 2012)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel)
- Ability to interpret site notes, CAD drawings, and sample data
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
Desirable:
- BOHS P402 / P403 / P404 or equivalent qualification
- Experience using asbestos data management system - TEAMS
