Territory Sales Representative (Flooring Products)

Pewaukee, WI

Overview:

We’re looking for a driven outside sales professional with a strong presence in the flooring industry to grow relationships and revenue across Southeastern Wisconsin. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday role with one Saturday per month. The territory is local — no overnight travel — and focuses on working with flooring dealers, distributors, and installation companies.

The ideal candidate has 2 to 5 years of experience in outside sales, preferably calling on retailers or flooring installation partners, and thrives on consultative selling rather than transactional pitching.


What You’ll Do:

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with flooring dealers, showrooms, and installers across the territory

  • Drive product sales through consultative conversations — uncovering needs, offering credible solutions, and closing business

  • Conduct training and product demos for dealer staff and installation partners

  • Strategically plan routes and customer visits to maximize time and coverage

  • Manage displays, samples, promotions, and new product introductions

  • Provide pricing, quoting, and project guidance based on customer requirements

  • Resolve customer issues quickly and effectively, maintaining trust and loyalty

  • Leverage CRM tools and reports to track opportunities and manage follow-ups

What You Bring:

  • 2 to 5 years of outside sales experience in flooring, building materials, or related products

  • Strong technical understanding of flooring materials, finishes, and installation methods

  • Consultative approach with excellent listening, problem-solving, and presentation skills

  • Self-disciplined and organized — plans territory activities, updates CRM notes, and follows through

  • High energy with a hunter mentality — confident making cold calls and building new relationships

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally within SE Wisconsin
