Description

Position Summary: 

The intern is responsible for developing a step-by-step manual after observing the Training and Quality Assurance responsibilities.  The intern will also provide general training support and assist in strengthening and streamlining the training process. 

Requirements

Essential Qualifications & Functions: 

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent 
  • Experience & Skills: 
  • Clear, professional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills 
  • Positive and engaged team member 
  • Able to work effectively independently or on a team while multitasking and prioritizing projects 
  • Able to function in an ever-changing and fast-paced setting 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Develop step-by-step manual for the Training and Quality Assurance role 
  • Study and make recommendations on how to streamline training processes 
  • Assist the Director of Training with overall operations of the Training Department 
  • Update New Employee Orientation checklist as courses are completed 
  • Verify that new employees have completed all required policies and procedures 
  • Update PowerPoints, as needed, and save slide decks in Training folder on SharePoint 
  • Upload data from class rosters into online tracking system 
  • Assist with tracking employee trainings and certifications 
  • Assist with data collection and survey analysis 
  • Schedule online trainings in Paylocity calendar 
  • Assist with production of training aids, including New Employee Orientation books 

Essential Physical Requirements: 

  • This is primarily sedentary work requiring the exertion of up to 50 pounds of force occasionally. 
  • Work involves fingering, grasping, repetitive motions, vocal communication, and hearing. 
  • Visual acuity is needed for preparing and analyzing data, operating machines, and observing surroundings.

  • Reports To: Melanie Heseman, Director of Training
