$86,482.00 - $129,723.00The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
GENERAL PURPOSESpecializes in designing and improving mechanical systems, components, and products. Leads projects and teams, and often works on complex, high-impact projects. Acts as a resource for new or lower-level engineers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Develops conceptual and detailed designs of mechanical parts and assemblies based on project requirements.
- Prepares technical drawings in compliance with industry standards.
- Provides supporting safety and engineering analyses as required.
- Prepares materials for engineering design reviews.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience required
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Proficient with CAD software required
- Competent with Finite element analysis (FEA) software required
- Ability to work both independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team required
- Siemens NX software preferred
