Ergon Inc. seeks a full-time Quality Assurance Leader in the Polaris Program Management Office. The testing lead will be responsible for defining, managing, and executing the end-to-end testing strategy for Project Polaris and other enterprise transformation initiatives. This role ensures the quality, stability, and readiness of business-critical systems and processes by coordinating testing across IT, business units, Core Business Services, and system integrator (SI) partners. The Testing Lead will work closely with Business Process Owners, consultants, and the PMO to provide structured testing governance, reporting, and alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in software testing, QA leadership, or test management in large-scale ERP/CRM implementations (SAP S/4HANA and Salesforce experience strongly preferred).
  • Proven experience leading complex testing programs across multiple geographies, business units, or system landscapes.
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks (ALM, Jira, HPQC, Tricentis, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to influence at multiple organizational levels.
  • Experience working with global, cross-functional, and vendor teams.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and how they integrate across enterprise systems.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to enterprise testing and business readiness.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the overall testing strategy, plan, and approach, aligned with project scope, methodology, and timeline.
  • Collaborate with Business Process Owners, Functional/Technical Consultants, and SI partners to define testable and traceable scenarios and cases.
  • Lead execution of all testing phases including System Integration Testing (SIT), Business System Testing (BST), Regression Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Ensure timely provisioning, configuration, and validation of test environments and data in coordination with Technical, Infrastructure, and Release Management teams.
  • Oversee creation and maintenance of test scripts and test data in collaboration with business SMEs and DGO
  • Lead stand-up calls and provide updates re: test progress, pass/fail rate, defect resolution, and retesting activities
  • Leads testing resources across streams to ensure deliverables are met and support is provided.
  • Coordinate testing efforts across multiple geographies, time zones, and business segments/companies
  • Manage test execution cycles, oversee defect triage, and drive resolution in collaboration with development and functional teams.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement across IT, business, and QA teams to ensure alignment, transparency, and visibility of testing activities and outcomes.
  • Provide regular testing status reports, KPIs, and dashboards to the PMO and Steering Committees.
  • Analyze test results, identify trends, and recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve quality and performance.
  • Support integration of process documentation tools (e.g., Signavio) with testing processes for traceability and compliance.
  • Partner with Change Management and Training teams to validate business readiness and confirm that solutions meet end-user requirements.
