Territory Manager – Charleston / Lowcountry Market
Location: Field-based in the Greater Charleston / Lowcountry region
This position will be supported by Conklin’s brand-new Charleston branch located at:

Position Overview
We are seeking a self-driven, relationship-focused Territory Manager to lead sales efforts throughout the Charleston and Lowcountry region. The ideal candidate has experience in B2B sales, preferably in HVAC, construction supplies, or building materials, and enjoys partnering with customers to solve problems and drive profitability.
You’ll have the full support of our established leadership team, product experts, and vendor partners—paired with the excitement and autonomy of a new market launch.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct daily customer visits with owners, project managers, estimators, and shop managers

Achieve sales revenue, gross margin, and territory growth targets

Prospect, pursue, and onboard new customers in the Charleston / Lowcountry area

Act as a trusted advisor to customers—helping them improve workflow, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness

Build long-term customer relationships through responsive, professional service

Maintain regular follow-up cadence with key accounts

Provide product knowledge and training support to customer teams

Collaborate with branch leadership to execute strategic territory plans

Stay informed of market activity, pricing shifts, and competitor offerings

Participate in vendor trainings, trade shows, industry events, and association activities

Conduct recurring ride-alongs with vendor representatives

Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience

5+ years of successful B2B sales experience, ideally in HVAC or construction supply

Existing customer relationships in the Charleston / Lowcountry market a plus

Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and managing a territory

Strong communication, consultative selling, and relationship-building skills

Highly self-motivated—comfortable managing your schedule and sales pipeline

Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems

Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
