CPower is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Customer Enablement Intern to support the successful onboarding and enrollment of customers into demand response programs. This role is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in project management, technical operations, and customer success within the energy services industry. The intern will play a key role in bridging the gap between sales and implementation, ensuring customers are set up for long-term success.

Program Overview

This paid internship program will run for 11 weeks beginning June 1, 2026 and ending August 14, 2026.

This is a hybrid position with the intern working remotely and at our Baltimore office three days a week (Tues/Wed/Thurs).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as a point of contact for program enablement activities once a sale is completed, helping ensure a smooth customer onboarding experience.
  • Collaborate with Customer Enablement Managers to assist with ongoing projects, documentation, and customer-facing deliverables.
  • Help document internal team workflows, procedures, and best practices to improve knowledge sharing and operational efficiency.
  • Assist with project management tasks related to the installation of metering and telemetry equipment, including scheduling, tracking milestones, and documentation.
  • Help manage relationships with installation vendors, ensuring timely and quality execution of field work.
  • Run data quality control checks on meter data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability.

Requirements

  • Rising Junior or Rising Senior pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, Energy Systems, or related field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage tasks and timelines effectively.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Smartsheet).
  • Interest in energy, project management, and technology.
  • Comfortable working with data and documentation.
