Position Overview

We are looking for motivated professionals to support the operations of our Waste-to-Energy facilities. These roles play a vital part in converting municipal solid waste into renewable energy while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards. Whether your background is in plant operations, maintenance, environmental monitoring, or administration, FCC Environmental Services offers meaningful career opportunities in a growing green energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

(Responsibilities may vary depending on the specific role.)

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain equipment used in the waste-to-energy process, including boilers, turbines, and emissions control systems.
  • Ensure safe and efficient operation of the plant in accordance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and process systems.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency and reliability.
  • Accurately record operational data and report on plant performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to maintain smooth plant operations and compliance with FCC’s sustainability standards.
  • Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and environmental stewardship.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical or associate degree preferred).
  • Experience in power generation, waste management, industrial maintenance, or related fields is a plus.
  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.
  • Ability to work in industrial environments and follow strict safety protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required for 24/7 operations.
  • Valid ID; additional certifications (e.g., boiler operation, forklift, confined space entry) are beneficial.
