His vision was that TherapySouth would be a therapist-owned practice, specializing in "hands-on care, close to a patient's home or work". The Physician Liaison is a brand ambassador for TherapySouth and is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with physicians, medical staff, community businesses and local networking groups to increase referrals to our physical therapy clinics.
Essential Functions:
- Conduct marketing visits and establish relations with physician offices throughout the region.
- Coordinate lunch meetings with referral sources.
- Attend chamber of commerce and community networking meetings.
- Collaborate with Clinic Directors on marketing strategy.
- Maintain a network of contacts and documentation of marketing visits in the CRM system.
- Target and engage new business development within the region.
- Manage requests and orders of promotional materials for clinics.
- Continually develop medical knowledge of services provided by the clinics.
- Monitor referral numbers and status in the referral management software to create a monthly, diversified plan of visits.
- Support clinic marketing initiatives through social media content creation and management.
- Collaborate with Director of Marketing to facilitate seasonal special projects for referral sources.
- Weekly check-ins with Director of Marketing.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Professional experience in healthcare settings preferred.
- Must have strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with analyzing data and using computer software such as Excel.
- Experience with social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
- Ability to travel within the South Alabama (Mobile, Daphne, Fairhope, Foley) region.
