Position Overview
The Gardner School of Central Park is seeking a warm, engaging, and experienced Lead Preschool Teacher to guide a classroom of young learners. You will help create a space where children feel safe, supported, and inspired every day. As a leader in the classroom, you will model curiosity, connection, and a commitment to making a positive impact on each child and family you support.

Pay Range: $19.55–$24.15 per hour, based on experience and education

Qualifications
Lead Teacher / ECT qualification under Colorado Department of Early Childhood requirements
2+ years of early childhood education experience (lead or co-lead experience preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field preferred; Associate degree or CDA required
Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Understanding of early learning best practices and child development
Strong communication and collaboration skills with a positive, professional approach
Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. (Required)
Regular and reliable attendance.
Skills & Physical Requirements
Ability to foster an engaging, developmentally appropriate learning environment
Effective at adapting instruction to meet individual learning needs
Active engagement throughout the day including standing, sitting on the floor, bending, and lifting up to ~60 lbs
Ability to fulfill cognitive and interpersonal aspects of classroom leadership including speaking, hearing, reading, writing, focusing attention, and building relationships
