Description

The purpose of the custodial employee is to maintain the cleanliness of the facilities while sustaining a safe work environment. This position is great for anyone who loves to ski/snowboard, as we have great perks for our employees to also enjoy our resort and sister resorts throughout the country. Essential Functions: 

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. 
• Maintain the cleanliness of the base area of the resort - including the restroom trailers.
• Identify safety issues and report them to the Resort Services Manager. 
• Adhere to safety procedures. 
• Handing all aspects of trash removal. 
• Assisting with snow removal 
• Notify management when more supplies are needed
• Maintain an enthusiastic and professional standard of service to our guests. 
• Work well with team members, demonstrate good communication skills, and promote a positive work environment.
• Follow supervisors direction and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education / Training / License(s) / Certification(s) Requirements: 

• Must be at least 18 years of age. 
• Current driver’s license. 
• Safe driving record. 
• Able to pass a MVR Background Check

Competencies Required: 

• Professional communication skills. 
• Ability to work weekdays, weekends, and some holidays. 
• Ability to solve problems and take direction. 
• Ability to work in a team environment. 
• Possess internal drive and motivation. 
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and create a fun, professional work environment. 

Physical Requirements: 

• Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. without assistance. 
• Must be able to lift arms overhead. 
• The position involves bending, twisting, and stooping repeatedly throughout the workday.
• Must be able to ascend and descend stairs without assistance. 
• Must be able to walk from building to building. 

Work Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions.
• This position works indoors and outside and is exposed to winter conditions.
• While performing this job, the employee primarily works independently but may also be required to work as part of a crew.
