Job Description
You will be the Contracts Management Staff for the Precision Fires Line of Business. Our team is responsible for supporting a fast‑growing portfolio of development and production programs within the Precision Fires line.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Contracts Management Staff you will be responsible for driving contract excellence across the Precision Fires portfolio. You will act as the primary liaison between program engineers, suppliers, and legal to ensure seamless execution of contracts.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop, negotiate, and execute contracts supporting development and production programs.
- Maintain contract records and ensure compliance with corporate policies and government regulations.
- Monitor contract performance metrics and initiate corrective actions when required.
- Coordinate with program managers to align contract terms with schedule and budget objectives.
- Support internal and external audits, providing required documentation and responses.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position requires selected candidate to obtain a Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications
- Exceptional and effective communication skills; both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (word, excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Possess basic working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS).
Desired skills
- Experience negotiating and administering contracts with the U.S. Government/Foreign Military Sales is preferred with a special emphasis upon Production and/or Development type contracts.
- Working knowledge of Intellectual Property, Data Rights Assertions, FAR/DFARS Compliant markings/legends, and a working knowledge of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL).
- Candidate should be able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and achieve program goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidate should be a proactive self-starter who is detailed oriented, as well as a team player.
- Candidate should be capable of working independently with general supervision.
- The qualified individual should be able to establish effective working relationships and communications with all internal and external customers and possess excellent business acumen.
- The candidate must have experience with complex financial terms and concepts (Long Range Plan (LRP), Return on Sale (ROS), proposal pricing, Executive Planning Panel experience, etc.).
- Should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The candidate should possess understanding of contractual and financial concepts and principles.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
