Security Agent II presso The Westgate Hotel

The Security Agent II performs all duties of Security Agent I with increased independence and situational awareness. This role may support training of new agents, take lead on incident response, and assist in coordinating security coverage during events or emergencies.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all Security Agent I duties with consistency and minimal supervision
• Lead or assist in response to escalated incidents, emergencies, or investigations
• Provide guidance and informal coaching to Security Agent I team members
• Monitor and document irregularities, access violations, or safety concerns with greater detail
• Support lost-and-found tracking and incident reporting procedures
• Assist with vendor and delivery access, contractor escorting, and badge issuance
• Communicate effectively with management and law enforcement if needed
• Ensure compliance with hotel safety protocols and participate in safety drills

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 months of hotel, event, or property security experience preferred
• Familiarity with report writing, de-escalation techniques, and surveillance monitoring
• Leadership potential and ability to guide others in high-pressure situations
• Valid California Guard Card required; CPR/First Aid certification preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to guest service and safety
