Essential Functions
- Acquire and maintain working knowledge of ACH Origination, SEC Codes, and Return Reason Codes.
 - Process and review ACH Notices of Change (NOCs) and pre-notifications.
 - Review and process ACH return reason codes and return items to the Federal Reserve (including disputes).
 - Monitor and manage ACH stop payments.
 - Process and approve daily ACH origination files.
 - Review and respond to OFAC alerts generated through ACH origination.
 - Process daily ACH Returns and Corrections Reports; notify clients as needed.
 - Handle Regulation E ACH disputes.
 - Monitor fraud detection systems for potential ACH-related alerts.
 - Ensure compliance with NACHA Operating Rules, Bureau of Fiscal Services Green Book, FFIEC guidelines, and other applicable regulations.
 - Enroll and remove clients to receive Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) reports via Federal Reserve Bank.
 - Stay current on ACH regulatory changes through training and materials.
 - Monitor ACH reports to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
 - Respond to client and internal inquiries regarding ACH transactions.
 - Investigate and escalate ACH issues promptly.
 - Perform other duties as assigned.
 
Required Education, Experience, and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
 - Minimum 2 years of experience in a financial institution; operations experience preferred.
 - Solid understanding of ACH processes and regulations.
 - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe.
 - Strong verbal and written communication skills.
 - Ability to adapt to changing priorities, organize tasks, and manage time effectively.
 - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
 - Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
 - Flexibility to work early mornings or evenings as needed.
