Photogrammetry Specialist II:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in cartography, geography, surveying, or a related discipline
Experience:
- 2 YEARS in cartography, mapping, surveying, or related experience.
- Experience can be satisfied by fulltime or prorated part-time equivalent.
- Relevant work experience may be substituted for degree on a year per year basis OR related graduate level education may be substituted for experience on a year per year basis. Substitutions for Minimum Qualifications
Licenses and Certifications:
- Valid driver’s license at the time of application. This position requires driving a state vehicle.
Photogrammetry Specialist III:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in cartography, geography, surveying, or a related discipline
Experience:
- 4 YEARS in cartography, mapping, surveying, or related experience.
- Experience can be satisfied by fulltime or prorated part-time equivalent.
- Relevant work experience may be substituted for degree on a year per year basis OR related graduate level education may be substituted for experience on a year per year basis. Substitutions for Minimum Qualifications
Licenses and Certifications:
- Valid driver’s license at the time of application. This position requires driving a state vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications:
ASPRS Certified Photogrammetrist or ASPRS Certified Lidar Technologist preferred for Photogrammetry Specialist III position.
Knowledge of Mobile and UAS Lidar systems, software and extraction techniques.
Familiarity with any of the following software:

Photogrammetry Specialist II:
Extensive knowledge of:
Cartography
Applicable surveying procedures, standards, and instruments

Ability to view objects in three dimensions on a 3D monitor
Photogrammetry Specialist III:

Planning, directing, coordinating and leading the work of others
Medium work: Occasionally carry survey tripods and survey instruments up to 25 lbs and the ability to lift 50 lbs above shoulder level, to install a mobile Lidar scanner with a co-worker to mount on top of a state vehicle pickup cap.
Balancing - walking, standing, crouching on various surfaces without falling
Lifting - raising objects from lower to higher position/horizontally to a different position
Climbing - ascending/descending ladders, stairs, scaffoldings, ramps, etc.
Stooping - bending body downward and forward by bending spine at waist
