The Warehouse Supervisor at Ashley Sling is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and organized material handling, inventory control, and logistics support. This role leads a team of warehouse associates and works closely with operations, purchasing, and fabrication teams to maintain optimal workflow, equipment readiness, and on-time delivery of parts and components.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials.
  • Ensure accuracy and organization of all inventory through regular cycle counts and audits.
  • Lead, train, and evaluate warehouse personnel to maintain high performance and compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment aligned with OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with vendors, carriers, and internal teams.
  • Monitor warehouse equipment (forklifts, cranes, etc.) for proper maintenance and safe operation.
  • Manage material flow and staging to support fabrication and service operations.
  • Review and approve documentation such as shipping manifests, work orders, and inventory reports.
  • Collaborate with purchasing and operations teams to forecast material needs and prevent stockouts.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase warehouse efficiency and accuracy.
     

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of warehouse or logistics experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Experience in industrial, construction, or manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control systems and ERP/WMS software.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in warehouse environments with varying conditions.
