Required skills, qualifications and experience
- Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Pilot on C-130J or another Tactical Transport Aircraft
 - Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Pilot Instructor on C-130J or another Tactical Transport Aircraft
 - Must have a minimum of 2 000 hours flight time with at least 500 hours as pilot in command
 - Must be able to speak English fluently
 - Must hold or be able to attain and maintain relevant EASA qualifications
 - Must have recent experience as a fully mission qualified, C-130J Instructor Pilot or former fully mission qualified instructor pilot on another Tactical Transport Aircraft and simulator instructor experience.
 - Ability to develop positive relationships with stakeholders, cross functional teams, and customers
 
The selected candidate may also hold the following skills:
- Prior experience delivering Military Pilot Academic and Simulator Training
 - Strong process discipline with focus on efficiency and optimization

About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide academic training and instruction in flight procedures in flight training devices
 - Lead a team of Pilot and loadmaster instructors, including three other Pilot and two loadmaster Instructors, to ensure effective and efficient delivery of training programs
 - Monitor student training for continuity and standardization and ensure course standards, training requirements, and objectives are met
 - Provide feedback and complete student gradebooks in accordance with FGMTC policy and procedures
 - Drive changes and improvements to training based on feedback from student critiques
 - Ensure all training, courseware, and publications are current and work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely courseware updates as required
 - Implement and support Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs, and policies as directed
 - Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed to accommodate changing training schedules and customer needs (including non-traditional working hours, occasionally nights, weekends, alternate shifts, etc.)
 
Travel: Occasional travel is required
