Job Purpose:

The Marketing Manager III works closely with cross-functional groups to plan, execute and measure marketing plans using a range of media and tactics. This position is responsible for the strategy, execution and measurement of marketing initiatives that support the Company's business objectives. Assignments may include mass advertising, digital & social media, direct marketing programs, sales enablement, lead generation programs, customer communications, and events, specifically for consumer and business markets.

 

Essential Functions:

  • 50% Strategy
    • Serve as a functional area subject matter expert
    • Works to engage stakeholders in both the development and launch of marketing plans
    • Potential to serve in various roles up to and including: mentor, manager, coach and cross-functional influencer
  • 30% Execution
    • Responsible for oversight and execution of marketing strategy
    • Helps to define policies and procedures needed to achieve goals
    • Coordinates the development of supporting documentation
  • 20% Measurement & Optimization
    • Provide recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders and peers based on results data, best practices, research
    • Collaborate regularly with cross-functional stakeholders to measure and optimize performance and mix of marketing options to drive awareness, engagement and sales conversion for Company's products and services
    • Accountability for continuous optimization of Marketing efforts and expense

 

Education:

Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

 

Relevant Work Experience:

5 to 7 years in related field

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong presentation skills

  • Effectively manage multiple tasks and functions simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate execution
  • Knowledge of telecommunications-related business processes and marketing trends

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position does not have employee direct reports but does serve as a "lead" role for others doing similar work
