***This role is hybrid, and candidates must live around the Bristol, PA area***


The Sales Executive, Telecomm Servies will focus on identifying and securing new opportunities for structured cabling, fiber optic, and related low-voltage projects. This position requires strong communication skills, technical understanding of network cabling systems, and the ability to manage the full sales cycle — from prospecting and quoting to closing deals and maintaining client relationships.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and develop new sales opportunities for CAT6, CAT6A, and fiber optic cabling projects.
  • Prospect for new clients through cold calling, networking events, social media, and referrals.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of both short-term and long-term project opportunities.
  • Conduct site visits and coordinate with project managers and estimators to prepare quotes and proposals.
  • Understand client network and infrastructure needs to develop tailored cabling solutions.
  • Present proposals to clients and negotiate pricing, terms, and project scopes.
  • Follow up on inbound inquiries and leads generated through marketing and online platforms.
  • Maintain all opportunities, contacts, and communications in the CRM system.
  • Represent Shock I.T. Support at industry and networking events to promote our services and brand.
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to ensure smooth project handoffs.
  • Provide monthly sales activity reports and forecasting to management.

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience in network cabling, low-voltage, or related technology services.
  • Solid understanding of structured cabling standards, fiber optic systems, racks, patch panels, and terminations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation abilities.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects at once.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Experience using CRMs and sales tracking tools (HubSpot experience is a plus).
  • Ability to read basic floor plans or construction drawings (preferred).
  • Willingness to learn and grow with the company.
