We’re looking for an energetic, driven, and highly organized Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help power our growth engine. 

Position Overview 

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a crucial role in Epic Health’s growth strategy by driving top-of-funnel activity. This is an in-office, outbound prospecting role focused on:
• Calling and qualifying medical practices for potential acquisition opportunities.
• Scheduling appointments for Acquisition Specialists to meet with decision-makers.
• Generating qualified appointments for our self-funded insurance program with employers and brokers.
 
This is a high-activity role that requires excellent communication skills, persistence, and a passion for building relationships. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Conduct high-volume outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups to medical practices and employer prospects. 

• Identify and qualify leads for Epic’s acquisition and insurance programs. 

• Set appointments for Acquisition Specialists and Insurance Sales Representatives. 

• Use CRM tools to log activities, track lead progress, and manage pipeline efficiently. 

• Research and maintain up-to-date lead lists, identifying decision-makers and key influencers. 

• Follow a structured outreach cadence, including cold calls, email sequences, and follow-up strategies. 

• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Leadership teams to optimize outreach strategies. 

• Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity and appointment-setting KPIs. 

• Maintain professionalism, compliance, and confidentiality in all communications. 

Qualifications 

• 1–3 years of inside sales, telemarketing, lead generation, or SDR/BDR experience (healthcare industry preferred but not required). 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to confidently speak to business owners and medical professionals. 

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding activity and appointment-setting targets. 

• Proficiency with CRM systems and outbound dialing/emailing tools. 

• Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills. 

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume outbound environment. 

• Positive attitude, resilience, and coachability. 

Performance Expectations (KPIs) 

• Outbound Dials: 80–100 daily 

• Qualified Conversations: 15–20 daily 

• Appointments Set: 10-20 weekly 

• Lead-to-Appointment Conversion: 15%+ 

• Follow-Up Cadence Compliance: 100%
