Job Summary: The successful candidate will assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development:
  • Assist in the design and development of electrical circuits, systems, and products using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, Revit).
  • Support the development of schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical design requirements are met.
  • Testing and Analysis:
  • Perform basic electrical calculations and analysis to ensure design integrity and compliance with specifications.
  • Assist in the testing and validation of prototypes and final products.
  • Help troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during the design and testing phases.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
  • Assist in the creation of technical presentations and project status updates.
  • Project Support:
  • Work with senior engineers and project managers to meet project deadlines and milestones.
  • Participate in the selection and evaluation of electrical components and systems.
  • Provide support during Construction Administration.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Educational Background: Associates degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience: Two plus years experience in consulting industry
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical,).
  • Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles, including circuit design, signal processing, and power distribution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

 

  • Adaptability: Flexibility and willingness to work on various projects and tasks, embracing new challenges with enthusiasm.
  • Initiative: Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative to drive projects forward.

  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with industry standards and codes (e.g., IEEE, NEC).
  • Experience with simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB).

Location: Raleigh, NC

Travel: Occasional to project sites
