JOB SUMMARY
As General Manager of Hyatt Place, you’ll lead with integrity, enthusiasm, and an eye for detail. You’ll oversee all aspects of daily operations—from guest satisfaction and team performance to financial success—ensuring the hotel delivers on HCW Hospitality’s promise of creating incredible experiences for every guest, every time. You set the tone for a positive culture that values excellence, innovation, and community.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Provide strategic leadership for all hotel departments, fostering collaboration and accountability across operations, sales, food and beverage, and engineering.
- Develop and implement business plans to achieve budgeted revenues, profitability, and guest satisfaction goals.
- Maintain the highest standards of quality, service, and cleanliness, ensuring brand consistency and compliance with Hyatt brand standards.
- Inspire, coach, and develop department leaders to drive engagement, performance, and professional growth.
- Build strong relationships with guests, associates, and local partners to strengthen the hotel’s reputation within the community.
- Analyze performance metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and lead initiatives that drive results.
- Ensure adherence to all safety, security, and operational policies.
- Take on additional duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the hotel.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Progressive hospitality leadership experience.
- Proven success as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in a select-service or full-service hotel.
- Strong financial acumen and the ability to interpret data to inform business decisions.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- A hands-on approach with the ability to motivate and inspire your team.
- Experience with Hyatt systems and brand standards preferred.
