Range: $20 to $28 Per Hour

Location: Evergreen Main Bank Location

Job Type: Full-Time


As a Bank Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our banking processes' efficient and smooth operation. You will support various daily operational functions, maintain compliance with banking regulations, and deliver top-tier service to our customers and internal teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily bank operational functions and cross-train in all areas of the Operations Department.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies under the direction of the Cashier.
  • Monitor and manage operational risks, both on behalf of the Bank and on behalf of customers.
  • Have excellent understanding of banking regulations and internal policies, specifically related to Operations, Fraud, Internal Controls and Customer Service.
  • Support the implementation of new banking systems, technologies, and procedures.
  • Respond to internal and customer inquiries and resolve issues related to operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall operational efficiency.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and regulatory audits as needed.
  • Conduct audits and quality checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of banking operations.
  • Must be reliable and consistent with attendance. Must have reliable transportation to and from the Main Bank in Evergreen and the ability to travel to any of our branches from time to time if required.

Requirements

  • Understanding of banking regulations, compliance standards, and banking best practices.
  • Proficient in banking software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). This should include skills in developing and manipulating Excel spreadsheets, and creating professional written correspondence to customers through all methods of contact.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently, and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional customer service and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
