We are seeking a Senior Valuation Analyst to join our team!
As a Senior Valuation Analyst, you’ll play a key role in providing valuation and financial analysis services that help clients make informed business decisions. You’ll lead valuation engagements, supervise analysts, and deliver high-quality reports used for financial reporting, tax, and strategic planning. This role offers the opportunity to apply strong analytical and communications skills in a collaborative, client-focused advisory environment.
What your day looks like:
  • Perform financial and valuation analyses for a variety of purposes including mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, estate and gift tax, ESOPs, and litigation support.
  • Compile, analyze, and interpret financial data, industry research, and market trends to support valuation conclusions.
  • Develop detailed valuation models, appraisals, and supporting documentation using accepted methodologies and standards.
  • Conduct independent research into industry, market, and economic factors relevant to engagements.
  • Prepare clear and compelling written reports, memoranda, and presentations that communicate valuation findings.
  • Supervise and mentor Valuation Analysts, reviewing workpapers and providing feedback.
  • Collaborate with partners and other service lines to ensure quality deliverables and timely completion of projects.
  • Maintain awareness of current valuation and accounting standards (GAAP, GAAS, IFRS, ASC 805 & 820).
  • Participate in proposals, client meetings, and other business development activities as needed.
What you need for this role:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Master’s degree in Accounting preferred.
  • 2-4 years of valuation or related experience; public accounting background a plus.
  • Attainment of or progress toward professional development (CFA, ABV, ASA, CVA) strongly preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced level Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with valuation of businesses and intangible assets, purchase price allocations, and equity compensation valuations.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Highly motivated.
  • Willingness to stay up to date through continuing professional education.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
