About the Role

We’re seeking a Product Manager to lead the launch, adoption, and ongoing improvement of the Liberty Action platform, which is YAL/Liberty Action’s digital hub for grassroots liberty activism. You’ll own the product roadmap, orchestrate cross‑team execution, and ensure members experience a seamless journey from signup to sustained activism. You’ll manage engagement features (including our gamification system, e.g., “Eagles”), partner closely with engineering and field teams, and drive a data‑informed approach to growth.

Location: Remote (occasional travel required)
Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
Employment: Full‑time

What You’ll Do

Launch & Adoption

  • Lead the Q1 launch from go‑to‑market plan through post‑launch stabilization.
  • Translate onboarding flows into sustained activation and early retention.
  • Set up dashboards and alerts for real‑time launch health (signups, activation, errors).

Product Roadmap & Features

  • Maintain a rolling, prioritized roadmap aligned to campaign needs; run quarterly planning.
  • Scope and ship features in tight, iterative cycles; manage dependencies and risks.
  • Oversee integrations with campaign tools (Hubspot, email/SMS, analytics).

User Journey & Engagement

  • Own the end‑to‑end journey from signup → membership → first action → repeated activism.
  • Operate the gamification system (levels, badges, streaks, leaderboards) and ensure it drives quality actions.
  • Define and track engagement KPIs (activation, DAU/WAU/MAU, actions/member, retention, cohort health).

Cross‑Team Collaboration

  • Serve as the connective tissue across engineering, field staff, marketing/growth, and content.
  • Coordinate funnel campaigns that drive platform growth and action‑taking.
  • Communicate progress, tradeoffs, and learnings clearly to stakeholders.

Feedback & Continuous Improvement

  • Run a steady cadence of user interviews, surveys, and in‑app feedback.
  • Convert insights into problem statements, hypotheses, and experiments (A/Bs where feasible).
  • Lead quarterly iteration cycles that deliver measurable improvements.

Qualifications

Must‑Have

  • 5+ years experience launching and scaling a platform or SaaS product as a Product Manager.
  • Familiarity with gamification mechanics and behavior change design.
  • Strong roadmap ownership, backlog management, and cross‑functional leadership.
  • Ability to translate complex technical needs into clear, user‑facing solutions.
  • Fluency with engagement and growth metrics; comfort with dashboards and product analytics.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and writing skills.

Nice‑to‑Have

  • Experience with political tech, grassroots organizing platforms, or digital campaign tools.
  • Comfort collaborating with field operations, content/creative, and data teams.

Work Style & Travel

  • Remote‑first; occasional travel for launches, team on‑sites, or major events.
