About the Role
We’re seeking a Product Manager to lead the launch, adoption, and ongoing improvement of the Liberty Action platform, which is YAL/Liberty Action’s digital hub for grassroots liberty activism. You’ll own the product roadmap, orchestrate cross‑team execution, and ensure members experience a seamless journey from signup to sustained activism. You’ll manage engagement features (including our gamification system, e.g., “Eagles”), partner closely with engineering and field teams, and drive a data‑informed approach to growth.
Location: Remote (occasional travel required)
Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

What You’ll Do
Launch & Adoption
- Lead the Q1 launch from go‑to‑market plan through post‑launch stabilization.
- Translate onboarding flows into sustained activation and early retention.
- Set up dashboards and alerts for real‑time launch health (signups, activation, errors).
Product Roadmap & Features
- Maintain a rolling, prioritized roadmap aligned to campaign needs; run quarterly planning.
- Scope and ship features in tight, iterative cycles; manage dependencies and risks.
- Oversee integrations with campaign tools (Hubspot, email/SMS, analytics).
User Journey & Engagement
- Own the end‑to‑end journey from signup → membership → first action → repeated activism.
- Operate the gamification system (levels, badges, streaks, leaderboards) and ensure it drives quality actions.
- Define and track engagement KPIs (activation, DAU/WAU/MAU, actions/member, retention, cohort health).
Cross‑Team Collaboration
- Serve as the connective tissue across engineering, field staff, marketing/growth, and content.
- Coordinate funnel campaigns that drive platform growth and action‑taking.
- Communicate progress, tradeoffs, and learnings clearly to stakeholders.
Feedback & Continuous Improvement
- Run a steady cadence of user interviews, surveys, and in‑app feedback.
- Convert insights into problem statements, hypotheses, and experiments (A/Bs where feasible).
- Lead quarterly iteration cycles that deliver measurable improvements.
Qualifications
Must‑Have
- 5+ years experience launching and scaling a platform or SaaS product as a Product Manager.
- Familiarity with gamification mechanics and behavior change design.
- Strong roadmap ownership, backlog management, and cross‑functional leadership.
- Ability to translate complex technical needs into clear, user‑facing solutions.
- Fluency with engagement and growth metrics; comfort with dashboards and product analytics.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and writing skills.
Nice‑to‑Have
- Experience with political tech, grassroots organizing platforms, or digital campaign tools.
- Comfort collaborating with field operations, content/creative, and data teams.
