At Certified Power , we are also fleet management systems specialists. We develop turnkey snow and ice removal systems for snowplow trucks designed to fit the needs of your organization or customer.


This role will be a change agent operating with the full support of the leadership team. The individual will lead the purchasing and planning team to drive demand planning/forecasting activities, to drive down lead times and improve OTD while optimizing inventory and customer service levels. 

Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead demand planning/forecasting activities, while working with production planning to drive down lead times and improve OTD
  • Vendor negotiation, management, and performance reporting
  • Supply chain risk identification and management
  • Work with production planning to balance production constraints 
  • Establish best practices and drive continuous improvement in demand planning, production planning, and purchasing
  • Lead the purchasing team to secure materials and align with manufacturing on production plans, resource availability, and equipment capacity.
  • Identify and mitigate short and long-term supply bottlenecks. Drive all capacity planning needs across the organization
  • Establish and maintain ERP system parameters for planning and inventory level management, including safety stock, Kanban, and stocking/consignment agreements
  • Maintain Supplier compliance database, RoHS, REACH, etc.
  • Creates strategic account development plans for high-value target accounts, executes, measures and reports results

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams to build consensus 
  • 5+ years in supply chain management with leadership in production planning and purchasing. Manufacturing experience required
  • Preferred certifications: ASCM, CPIM, CSCP, or CPSM
  • Detail-oriented with a strategic view; adaptable to changing priorities and committed to continuous improvement
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and data analytics tools such as MITS and Power BI

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, or related field 


WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Work hours average 40-50 per week with typical hours of operation being Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm; may require additional hours including evening and weekends depending on business needs.
  • Work is typically performed in an office environment, on-site or at a prospective customer.
  • Work may be performed in a manufacturing/factory environment.

Travel

  •  Up to 15% of the time
