Starting Pay Range: $24 - $28/hour

Purpose of Position:

• Front-End Website Development/Maintenance

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assemble and update web pages across multiple e-commerce web sites 
• Use proprietary scripting language built into point-of-sale system to render website HTML 
• Write and maintain PHP pages to integrate third party services using data from the point-of-sale system 
• Assist other departments within Sports Warehouse with publishing logic and content to the e-commerce sites 
• Maintain components of the e-commerce websites to stay up to date with current company needs as well as ADA, SEO and other relevant standards 
• Consistently review work for accuracy and functionality prior to publishing 
• Focus, maintain attention to detail, and balance multiple duties in a dynamic environment 
• Work independently, stay self-motivated, and appropriately prioritize tasks 
• Function as part of a team, having a positive attitude and strong work ethic 
• Demonstrate a sense of pride in work while representing Sports Warehouse in a positive manner.

Requirements

• HTML, CSS and JS Experience 
• Must be comfortable with Mac OS   
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 
• Willingness to learn our proprietary scripting language 
• Knowledge of cross browser compatibility issues  
• Excellent problem-solving skills 
• Takes direction well and able to learn in a fast-paced environment

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no direct supervisory responsibility.

Work Environment:

This position involves working in a fast-paced environment with standing and/or sitting for prolonged periods of time. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computers.
