Position Overview
As Director of Sales, you’ll play a high-impact role driving HOPCo’s national growth strategy by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities across orthopedic practices, ASCs, and health systems.
This is a front-line role where you’ll be responsible for pipeline development, strategic relationship-building, and solution-selling, while collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver value-driven proposals. You’ll work hand-in-hand with executive leadership to expand HOPCo’s footprint and impact across the MSK space.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Business Development – Proactively identify, prospect, and engage new orthopedic practices, ASCs, and health system opportunities.
- Drive Strategic Partnerships – Build and manage relationships with surgeons, practice administrators, ASC leadership, and C-suite executives.
- Solution Selling – Present and position HOPCo’s full suite of offerings (MyRecovery, Vitals, IT Security & Cloud services) in a way that resonates with client needs and goals.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally – Work closely with IT, digital transformation, and value-based care teams to ensure smooth implementation and delivery of solutions.
- Manage the Sales Cycle – Assist in creating proposals and building accurate quotes to support informed client decisions.
- Pipeline Ownership – Maintain accurate pipeline reporting, forecasting, and opportunity tracking using Salesforce (or equivalent CRM).
- Market Intelligence – Stay on top of industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging customer needs to position HOPCo as a preferred partner.
- Travel & Representation – Travel up to 30% annually to conferences, tradeshows, and on-site client meetings to showcase HOPCo’s solutions and strengthen relationships.
Qualifications
Experience
- 5+ years in healthcare sales, preferably within MSK, orthopedic, ASC, or digital health environments.
- Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding quotas in complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments.
Knowledge
- Familiarity with orthopedic practice operations, value-based care models, and EMR/PACS integrations is highly preferred.
Skills
- CRM Proficiency: Comfortable managing pipeline, reporting, and forecasts using Salesforce or similar tools.
- Digital Sales Tools: Familiarity with virtual sales platforms (Zoom, Teams, etc.) and cloud-based collaboration tools.
- Presentation & Negotiation: Strong ability to deliver compelling presentations and close deals with executive-level stakeholders.
- Business Acumen: Skilled at translating complex technical solutions into clear, value-driven propositions.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Thrives in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field preferred.
