Reports To: GM of IT PMO & Project Delivery
About the Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the full lifecycle of a critical IT systems rollout—from planning and execution to delivery and stakeholder engagement. Operating at a national level, you will drive project outcomes that enhance operational efficiency, compliance, and workforce capability.
- Project Planning & Scoping: Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans and resource allocation models.
- Budget & Financial Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial accountability and return on investment.
- Execution & Monitoring: Lead project execution, monitor progress against milestones, and implement corrective actions to ensure successful delivery.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify and mitigate risks proactively, developing contingency plans to minimise disruption.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the central point of contact for project communications, ensuring alignment and transparency across business units.
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience delivering complex IT projects in large-scale environments.
- Strong command of project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid models.
- Demonstrated success in managing senior stakeholders and third-party vendors.
- Experience implementing technology solutions for field workforces or compliance systems is highly regarded.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Certified Practitioner certification preferred.
