The JustServe Area Relations Manager in the Welfare and Self-Reliance department is responsible for the implementation and continued growth of JustServe in the US, Canada and International Church Areas and community; inspiring, coaching, instructing, consulting, collaborating and counseling with Area specialists, instructing new area specialists, and reporting to JustServe Global Field Manager. Provides feedback, and feature enhancements on the website and technology to the technical Product Manager.

  • Grow volunteer, project, and organization base internationally.  
  • Develop and implement community strategies and collaborate with area and local JustServe specialists and priesthood leaders 
  • Coordinate Feedback and requirements with the Help Center and technical product manager and manage communication with the area JustServe specialists.
  • Build strong working relationships with the area and country JustServe Specialists for collaboration and alignment to assist in their planning strategy. (Biweekly meetings)
  • Conduct regular forums and coordinate support for Area “OneWork” conferences
  • Help area and country specialists to develop strategic relationships with key faith-based, nonprofit, community, and government organizations to ensure a growing high-quality supply of service opportunities and awareness in the community for volunteering
  • Advise area and country specialists on potential awareness campaigns in the public or on Church communication channels, special events, national days of service, etc. Ensure good communication with key Church departments.
  • Share best practices from the US and other international areas.
  • Support Strategy development for JustServe. Council, lead and fulfill strategic assignments.
  • Expert focus on projects to include, building curriculums and artifacts to be used internally in pilots to grow the work.  

Qualifications

Required 

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of four years of experience in program management, community engagement, or related fields, including coaching or leading staff/volunteers.
  • Proven experience implementing programs across multiple regions or teams.
  • Experience analyzing program metrics, reporting outcomes, and making data-driven recommendations.
  • Experience working with platforms, websites, or technology products.
  • High level of analytical and creative problem-solving skills.

Preferred

  • MBA or relevant Master’s-level degree.
  • Prior international or cross-cultural business/program experience.
  • Fluency in one or more required local languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, etc.).
  • Experience facilitating workshops, group training, or volunteer development programs.
