Summary

The Business Analysis Manager plays a critical role in enabling SENS’ revenue organization with the data, tools, and insights necessary to drive strategic decision-making and operational excellence. This role will design, lead, and execute our business analytics, reporting, and sales metrics strategy spanning Syteline, HubSpot, Power BI, Qlik, and other platforms.

 

Reporting to the Vice President of Business Operations, this role will partner cross-functionally to curate and optimize the systems that support our customer journey from intake through revenue recognition. Initially a hands-on, highly engaged individual contributor role, this position will expand to include leadership of the HubSpot Administrator and management of relationships with external contractors supporting HubSpot and our CPQ tool.

 

The Manager will be equally comfortable shaping long-term strategy and executing at a tactical level, and ne responsible for designing KPIs, building dashboards, creating forecasting models, and delivering actionable insights to sales teams and executive leadership.


Responsibilities

Analytics Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead the design and execution of the company’s business analytics and reporting strategy across Syteline, HubSpot, Power BI, Qlik, and other relevant platforms.
  • Define, implement, and continuously refine KPIs for sales, pipeline, bookings, backlog, and revenue performance.
  • Develop predictive and prescriptive analytics models to forecast performance, identify trends, and highlight opportunities for improvement.


Reporting & Metrics

  • Design and manage tools, dashboards, and reports for sales quota modeling, performance tracking, forecasting, and sales incentive calculations.
  • Build and maintain reporting on key metrics, including (but not limited to):
    • Quote-to-PO conversion %
    • Win rate %
    • Deal stage conversion %
    • Time-in-stage analysis
    • Pipeline generation vs. target
    • Pipeline coverage ratios
    • Run rate sales analysis
    • Deal lifecycle analysis
    • Rep firm performance analysis
  • Provide ongoing executive-level analysis for CRO, VP Business Operations, and other senior leaders.
  • Curate and oversee the tools supporting the customer journey from lead intake through revenue recognition, ensuring smooth integration between HubSpot, Syteline, XaitCPQ, and other core systems.
  • Partner with IT to manage platform administration, with direct admin access for most tools.
  • Develop and maintain a roadmap for analytics and business systems, identifying automation opportunities and integration enhancements.

 

Cross-functional Enablement & Change Management

  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Marketing to align on KPI definitions and ensure consistent reporting standards.
  • Drive adoption of new analytics tools, dashboards, and processes through effective communication, training, and documentation.

 

Project Management & Special Initiatives

  • Manage analytics-related projects from concept through execution, including executive ad- hoc requests and board-level reporting.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of Rep Firm portals, and other online tools.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience (5+ in analytics/reporting leadership) OR 15+ years of experience without a degree (7+ in analytics/reporting leadership).
  • Proficiency in CRM (HubSpot preferred), ERP (Syteline preferred), BI tools (Power BI), and advanced Excel.
  • Strong understanding of sales performance metrics, forecasting methodologies, and incentive plan design.
  • Proven track record of building KPI frameworks and delivering actionable business insights to senior leadership.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
  • Excellent presentation skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to actively listen, collaborate and identify key drivers of cost in the business.
  • Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and improvement.
  • Expert in Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong project and time management skills.
  • Motivated, driven, resourceful, innovative, forward thinking and committed.
  • Ability to operate cross-functionally, engaging both peers and executive audiences.

 

Location: This position is located in Longmont, CO with the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule once fully trained.

 

Base Compensation: $110,000 - $136,000 is the projected compensation range for this role depending on the candidate’s overall qualifications and experience.
