This role is essential in ensuring our projects are accurately budgeted and financially viable from inception through completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost analysis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review project specifications and requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates

- Analyze labor, materials, and time requirements for each project

- Obtain and evaluate bids from suppliers and subcontractors

- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to clarify project needs

- Prepare and present detailed written estimates and proposals

- Update estimates as project scope or conditions change

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

- Must be 18 years of age & have a valid drivers license

- Experience in cost estimation, preferably within the construction or engineering industries

- Strong analytical and mathematical skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

- Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications

- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
