 What You’ll Do

    Lead quality and food safety initiatives aligned with Seda’s growth and operational goals

    Develop and enhance quality control systems and process capability programs

    Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, operations, maintenance, and safety teams

    Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions using tools like FMEA, DMAIC, and 8D

    Manage quality performance tools (Infinity QS, CMM, gages) and ensure accurate data collection

    Oversee validation and verification processes for manufacturing improvements

    Analyze nonconformance data and generate statistical reports

    Support continuous improvement efforts including scrap reduction and PDCA methodology

    Train operations teams on quality systems and standards

 What You Bring

    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related field preferred)

    5–10 years of manufacturing experience; food packaging experience a plus

    Familiarity with Thermoforming, Extrusion, or Paper Converting processes

    Proficiency in analytical tools (Excel, Access, Minitab) and Microsoft Office/PowerPoint

    Strong knowledge of quality methodologies (Pareto, 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA, DMAIC)

    Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and 3D CAD (SolidWorks or packaging software)

    Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skill

    Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently

    Highly organized, innovative, and collaborative team player

Physical Demands

This is a hands-on, on-site role that involves a mix of desk work and floor-level engagement. The position requires:• Frequent sitting, walking, and standing throughout the workday, regular use of hands for handling tools, equipment, and documentation, occasional reaching, lifting (up to 25 lbs), and exposure to moderate noise levels, minimal climbing, stooping, or crouching and daily verbal communication with cross-functional teams.
