To join our 12-month Cyber Security Placement, you must be a penultimate-year student on a credit-bearing placement as part of a Bachelor’s or Integrated Master’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Security, or another discipline that includes relevant security modules.

Once you’ve completed your initial training, you’ll be ready to take on your first role. Project placements vary based on business needs, and we encourage interns to explore a wide range of opportunities to discover what excites them most. Typical roles on this programme may include:

Throughout your placement, you’ll be supported with ongoing training, coaching, and guidance to help you grow your skills and shape your career. 

You will also have the opportunity to apply what you’ve learned at university, explore different areas of Cyber Security and uncover where your strengths and passions lie.

By the end of the scheme, you’ll walk away with valuable experience, in-demand skills—and hopefully, an offer to join us when you graduate.

At Accenture, we value collaboration and connection. You’ll be expected to work from your assigned UK office at least three days per week, so you must live within commuting distance. Depending on project needs, you may also spend time at client sites across the UK—sometimes more than three days a week.

The Cyber Security Placement starts in September 2026, and you’ll work with us for twelve months.  Places are offered on a first come first served basis, we encourage you to apply early. The application deadline is 30th November 2025; however, we reserve the right to close earlier depending on demand.
