Secretary to Food Services Department presso Grand Haven Area Public Schools

Pay:         $17.60 per hour

Hours:     12-Month Position (Full Schedule: 3 weeks before school starts - one week after school ends)
                Monday - Friday / 7:00am - 3:00 pm (7.5 hours daily) / Summer months - 8 hours per week
 

Applicants for this position must meet the following qualifications:

1. Possess a high school diploma or its equivalent with preference given to additional business/accounting education.
2. Must have experience with technology including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google applications required. Must have the ability to learn school-related software.
3. Require competency in clerical test including demonstrate accurate keyboarding skills of at least 55 words per minute.
4. Possess basic bookkeeping / accounting skills, adhering to all district policies and procedures for cash handling.
5. Must be pleasant, courteous and possess the ability to develop effective relationships with students, staff and parents.
6. Must possess organizational and leadership qualities in office management.
7. Must possess the ability to perform efficiently with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
8. Must possess ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
9. Ability to process and maintain accurate records of all free and reduced lunch applications as well as complete state reporting requirements.
