JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for supporting the Manager with bowling/arcade operations. Promotes guest satisfaction through supervision of staff, and operational procedures, and ensures adherence to established standards and policies.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Promotes exemplary customer satisfaction through prompt, efficient, and friendly service.
  2. Promotes a clean, safe, and healthy work environment at all times for employees and guests, and promptly addresses hazards and reports concerns to the manager.
  3. Supports Manager with supervision of staff to include hiring, scheduling, performance coaching and counseling, performance appraisals, employee orientation, training, and staff development.
  4. Oversees bowling/arcade environment, ensuring a smooth flow between guest services, bowling lanes, and arcade areas.
  5. Assists the Bowling/Arcade manager with the budget process and annual work plans.
  6. Communicates policy changes, operational information, etc., to staff in an efficient/effective manner.
  7. Maintains a well-organized operational flow by communicating special events, banquets, food supply needs, etc., to F&B management and
  8. Handles any guest service complaints expediently, with guest satisfaction, and returns the goal.
  9. Helps develop procedures and policies for specific operations as needed or directed by management.
  10. Ensures that the operation of equipment, tools, and materials is handled safely.
  11. Compliance with regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.
  12. Promotes internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
  13. Identifies areas that need improvement and develops strategies to make the improvements.
  14. Other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. General knowledge of bowling/arcade operations.
  2. Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
  3. High School Diploma or GED or ten years of experience.
  4. POS experience.
  5. Excellent interpersonal, guest service, leadership, communication, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills are required.
  6. Computer skills in Word and Excel preferred.
  7. Stand and/or walk for long periods; work in a noisy environment; perform repetitive motions with arms, elbows, wrists, hands, and fingers; bend, lift, and maneuver 50 lbs.; and have good visual and auditory acuity to respond.
  8. Possess or obtain a Food Handler Certification and an OLCC server permit within 30 days of employment.
  9. Excellent personal appearance and grooming.
  10. Requires a criminal history background check.
  11. Must be at least 21 years of age.
