JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for supporting the Manager with bowling/arcade operations. Promotes guest satisfaction through supervision of staff, and operational procedures, and ensures adherence to established standards and policies.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Promotes exemplary customer satisfaction through prompt, efficient, and friendly service.
- Promotes a clean, safe, and healthy work environment at all times for employees and guests, and promptly addresses hazards and reports concerns to the manager.
- Supports Manager with supervision of staff to include hiring, scheduling, performance coaching and counseling, performance appraisals, employee orientation, training, and staff development.
- Oversees bowling/arcade environment, ensuring a smooth flow between guest services, bowling lanes, and arcade areas.
- Assists the Bowling/Arcade manager with the budget process and annual work plans.
- Communicates policy changes, operational information, etc., to staff in an efficient/effective manner.
- Maintains a well-organized operational flow by communicating special events, banquets, food supply needs, etc., to F&B management and
- Handles any guest service complaints expediently, with guest satisfaction, and returns the goal.
- Helps develop procedures and policies for specific operations as needed or directed by management.
- Ensures that the operation of equipment, tools, and materials is handled safely.
- Compliance with regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.
- Promotes internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
- Identifies areas that need improvement and develops strategies to make the improvements.
- Other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- General knowledge of bowling/arcade operations.
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
- High School Diploma or GED or ten years of experience.
- POS experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, guest service, leadership, communication, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills are required.
- Computer skills in Word and Excel preferred.
- Stand and/or walk for long periods; work in a noisy environment; perform repetitive motions with arms, elbows, wrists, hands, and fingers; bend, lift, and maneuver 50 lbs.; and have good visual and auditory acuity to respond.
- Possess or obtain a Food Handler Certification and an OLCC server permit within 30 days of employment.
- Excellent personal appearance and grooming.
- Requires a criminal history background check.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
